My name is Tisha - thanks so much for stopping by to learn about me!

I got married at 23 years old and a couple years later, I was blessed to start my stay-at-home mom career. When my youngest started school, I re-entered the workforce and since then I’ve experienced tremendous success in my career where I’ve progressed from an entry-level retail role, to various head office positions and now corporate management roles. I volunteer, I make time for fun with friends and family, and I like to believe I have good work/life balance.

But it hasn’t always been that way. My stay-at-home journey ended when my first marriage did. Financially, I struggled. Emotionally, I was a mess. Although my new partner and I worked hard to create a great life for our little family, there were many days/weeks/months I struggled to find the point of it all. It wasn’t pretty, and it sure wasn’t easy.

Fast forward 12 years and and I now recognize that my story is the reason I am who I am today. Amazingly, and after a lot of work, I am grateful for every tough time I’ve gone through. My journey has taught me that I’m resilient. That I can do hard things. That I can have all the emotions and still live a beautiful life.

And spoiler alert: you can too!
